I graduated in Biological Sciences in 2023 from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca. Currently, I am in the second year of my master’s program in Industrial Biotechnology, where I am working on my thesis in collaboration with SIPCAM OXON S.p.A. My research focuses on the study, production, and application of an enzyme for the synthesis of agrochemicals.
Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong passion for synthetic biology, metabolic engineering, and biomanufacturing.
During my undergraduate internship in 2022 at IndBiotechLab, I worked for three months on the production of ascorbic acid in Saccharomyces cerevisiae using innovative synthetic biology toolkits. This experience further solidified my interest in applying advanced biotechnological tools to address complex scientific challenges.
