Camilla Magnani holds a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology (2021), from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca.
She is currently studying for a master’s degree in Industrial Biotechnology and doing her thesis work in Prof. Paola Branduardi’s laboratory.
She is studying the correlation between genotype and phenotype in the non-conventional yeast Zygosaccharomyces parabailii, an acidophile yeast of interest for the production of high-value compounds, especially organic acids.
