Martina Dramis holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Biotechnology from the University of Milano-Bicocca and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the same field at IndBiotechLab. Her doctoral research, conducted in collaboration with Pirelli Tyre, focuses on developing sustainable alternatives for the tire industry by replacing fossil-based fillers with innovative biopolymers to reduce environmental impact. She recently participated in the IFPB24 conference in Sweden.

Before starting her Ph.D., she completed a year-long fellowship at the National Research Council, where she investigated the cultivation of microalgae and cyanobacteria for the production of omega-3 fatty acids, gaining expertise in microbial growth optimization and sustainable bioprocesses.

Her academic and professional journey reflects her dedication to leveraging biotechnology for industrial sustainability and innovation, with a strong commitment to addressing global challenges through cutting-edge research and collaborations.
